04/24/08  We just posted some photos from the 4/18/08 Show here.

04/19/08  Thanks to everyone that came out to support the bands & to the bands who made it out last night!  NO Thanks to the "neighbor" who called the police on us @ 10:30 :(  The evening got cut short at the start of Ampline's last song.  We were also quite disappointed not to hear Chris Castle play some tunes, but he'll be doing some shows in the not so distant future, so check out his myspace page for dates: ww.myspace.com/chriscastlepage  -- Special Thanks to Waldo's Bar in Norwalk!! Waldo let us finish up the evening down at his place: Death by Rodeo played a killer set to end the night!!  It's not the end of the ST67 House parties, but we'll need to lay low for awhile. -jim

04/1708  Just a reminder: tomorrow night April 18th were hosting one heck of a party/show at our house!  Ampline will be coming up from Cinci to rock out, along with a bunch of others.  Jim has a new project/band with Mike F(ex-SeaTac 67) and Eric Schepers (the Tired Eyes); they'll be playing first, followed shortly after by SeaTac 67, so please get there early: 7PM!  Click here for more info: Shows

04/10/08 We just posted a demo of our brand new song "Living Hell".  Check it out on our myspace page!  We really have to record this song again, but this version is/was so much fun, mistakes and all, so we wanted to share it.

04/03/08  Show APRIL 18th:  We are now playing; Mystery of Two had something come up and had to cancel that night, but we got Death by Rodeo to take their place!  Please come out, much fun will be had! (see more details here)

03/12/08  MAR 2008 BAND UPDATE
We recently recorded the basic tracks for 11 songs. We’re working on the vocals and some guitar parts now. It’s still undetermined what will become of these recordings, but we hope to make them our next CD release, it depends how everything turns out after we finish tracking, mixing and such.

We haven’t been too active recently, but we’re not on hiatus, our work schedules are just really bad right now, plus that mixed with blizzards and sicknesses makes it hard to get together.

We are excited to be hosting a show (but not playing) on Friday April 18th at the ST67 House. Ryan’s band (The Tired Eyes) will be playing along with Ampline (from Cincinnati) and Mystery of Two (from Cleveland). Everyone should try to make it out. $5 and starts around 7PM.

The next SeaTac 67 show is scheduled for Sat June 28th - Norwalk Fest. It will be with a bunch of other bands playing somewhere in Norwalk, details still to be determined.

We might be able to squeeze another show in before that, we’ll keep you posted if something comes up.

02/04/08 We're playing a last minute show tomorrow night ! Punk Rock Mardi Gras !!
Bring some beads !?! ( shows )

01/31/08  We had a couple really fun shows this past month!  The Cleveland show was a lot of fun, jim had a cold, but we had fun and met some cool new people and Now That's Class is a pretty swell venue.  The house party was one of the most fun shows we've had.  The bands Thistle and Lost Hands Found Fingers from Cinci were amazing !!  We've uploaded some photos from those two shows here: 1/12/08 and here 1/26/08.  Our schedules are a still a bit crazy, so we'll keep you posted when we line up some more shows.

01/01/08 HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

12/04/07 Ryan booked a show for "The Tired Eyes" at Bela Dubby in Cleveland on Dec 15th.  We're having a Birthday/Holiday party on Dec 29th at the house.  Plus we've booked a show for Saturday January 12th in Cleveland at Now That's Class!  Mark Your Calendars and Have a nice Holiday Season !!

11/30/07 We uploaded two brand new song demos on our myspace page.

11/07/07  The Davenport is an awesome venue, everyone should go there, it reminds us of the Grog Shop, great staff, great beer selection, good prices, great sound!!  We've been delayed on the release of the CD ST67-004 "This is all real".  All the music & artwork is finished and on disc ready to mail off, we're just short of cash at the moment.  So for now you can still listen to the entire release here,  hopefully we can get it done and ready by the end of the year.

10/31/07  HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!  We have a party at the ST67 House this Saturday Nov 3rd and we added a last minute show this coming Monday Nov 5th at the Davenport in Parma Heights !! See more info on our shows page, it'll be awesome !!

10/19/07  We added some photos from our 10/06/07 show at the Underground here.  We also uploaded a video of the song "Notes from the Underground" from the 10/06/07 show that you can view at the bottom of our Music Page here.  We've also decided that every other week or so we'll upload 1 or 2 different tracks over at our myspace page.  These songs will be random demos of new stuff, old stuff, really old stuff, and occcasionly stuff destined never to be played again.  We're bored, so we figured, why not?  Visit here to listen to what's up today!

09/07/07  You can Pre-Order our newest CD "this is all real" at our Web Store, it will be ready to ship early October.  We also put up FULL ALBUM STREAMS for all of our releases, so you can hear each album in it's entirety including the new soon to be released one.  Visit our Music/Discography Page to listen.

The Reviews are just rolling in, here are a few choice snippets we've heard:
"you guys sound much better live"
"I can definitely tell you recorded at home"
"I can't understand a word you're singing through all that heavy metal noise"
"the recording quality makes some of the songs almost unlistenable"
"maybe you should try to record an acoustic album, your songs sound like they'd be good acoustic"
after a show: us: "so what'd ya think?" a friend: "I really like the shirt Carla's wearing tonight"
"I wouldn't quit your day jobs, but you guys are pretty good"
"i really liked the instrumental one"
"you guys were a lot more punk then we thought you'd be, like real punk, good stuff"
"you sounded a lot different than that song I heard on your myspace..."
"you should play some slower songs, and not yell so much"
"Tell Carla to yell some more. Yell like an angry dragon."
    "wooooooo !!! yeah !! "
    "worst band name ever!"

08/22/07  Band Update:  Things have been working out great with Ryan on drums, we had two AWESOME shows this past weekend and we've got tons of new song ideas in the works.
Here's a list of stuff we've got coming up:
- Show SAT Oct. 6 @ The Underground, Sandusky, OH (this is (strangely enough) our first show ever in Sandusky)
- Limited CDR release of "this is all real" - This includes the last 16 songs we recorded with Mike F on drums, everything is almost finished, should be available in October (check out the track listing on our Music / Discography page)
- We're also getting very close to having a new album worth of songs ready to record. Several songs(Love Crimes, Hell's Basement, Last Call, 27 Heaven, and Lost) we've been perfoming for a while and then we've got about 7 or 8 new songs that are getting very close to being worked out. We need to finish the new songs, then we'll figure out where and how we're going to record. We'd really like to have something recorded by the end of the year. By that time, we'll probably have a few more songs added to the list, so we could potentially release a CD EP and a Full Length CD, or a couple EP's, maybe a 7 inch, a special double gatefold vinyl LP (yes, we can dream!!), maybe a split with someone or a cassette, who knows, but regardless what format we choose(or can afford) for release(s) we plan to actually try to record at least a few songs in a real studio this time, plus we've got Ryan now to help with the engineering/production, so we can guarantee it'll sound different than anything we've put out yet. We're pretty excited!!! We'll keep you posted as events unfold.....

07/29/07  Thanks to everyone who played and came out to Waldo's last night, good times were had, you can view some photos from the night HERE.  Don't forget to mark your calendars for our August 18th & 19th shows !!

05/27/07  DRUMMER FOUND !  Yes, we found a drummer!  His name is Ryan! We're working hard right now to work up a good set so we can get out and do some shows.  We're planning to do our first show(s) with Ryan the last weekend of June !!  Woo !!

05/21/07  Thank You to everyone who came out this past Saturday!! Special thanks to all the bands & performers !  It was a great day.  We helped to raise a bit over $400!! Not a ton, but every bit counts.  The Norwalk Reflector wrote a little article about the event here.  They forgot to mention Ryan Schepers, who we know was AWESOME !! But it was still good press for the Skate Park Effort !!   and we are pretty certain we found a drummer, more details on that coming soon.....

05/15/07  Ok, we had a good pratice and worked out a good set and are playing this Saturday at the Fundraiser for the Norwalk Skate Park, please come out and show your support !

05/06/07 We've just announced another show that we're helping out with: Saturday May 19th; it'll be an outdoor show to fundraise for the Norwalk Skatepark, we may or may not play, but we're helping out regardless, be there!!

04/24/07  We're doing an Acoustic Set this Saturday 4/28 @ Waldo's Bar in Norwalk, come check it out !!

04/11/07  We still need a drummer (see below).  We just uploaded four new songs.
We hope you'll check 'em out and give us some feedback, comments, and criticisms.
These will be on our next little home made album we'll have available soon.
"Notes from the Underground", "Open Your Eyes", "No Control", and "Manufactured"

03/28/07  Do you want to play drums with SeaTac 67?

(for those that don't know: after two years with us: Mike F has stepped down as our drummer, no hard feelings, we're all still friends, but that leaves us with the need for a new drummer.  The 3 of us have been trying to teach ourselves how to play some drums and have come up with some fun(ny) versions of the "ST67 Trio", but we're quite a ways off from being considered "drummers", so ....)

Here's the scoop:
We play all originals (we have almost 60 songs written, and we're always working on new ideas).
(we're not opposed to doing a cover or two at some point, we just normally focus on our own stuff)
most of our songs fit into the Punk & Indie Rock realm
We have a drum kit (see it in pictures of the band, pearl export red wine)
Right now we're available to practice and do shows on Saturdays and Sundays.
(Occasional week nights, but Mike J works 2nd shift (M-F), so unless he has a down day or
takes a vacation day: we're out of luck)
We have a place to practice in Norwalk, OH & we have a van.

Goals:
-- to work up a good 35 minutes or so worth of songs to play live (new&old songs)
-- we'd like to get out and play a couple shows a month (more some months, less others)
(Locally + Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus, BG, Lorain, Akron, Detroit and we'd like to start traveling a bit further and maybe try to book some 2 night weekend trips to places like: Chicago, South Bend, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Philly, DC, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, etc.)
-- write, work out, record, release new songs (we'd like to get into a "real" studio soon)
-- have fun

We're doing this band because we love music and enjoy writing & performing the songs we create.  We are serious about writing and performing to the best of our abilities and getting better at both. So we practice hard, but we also like to have a good time, meet new people, have some drinks, listen to music, and hang out. (and there's nothing better than doing that and playing a show at the same time/place!!)
We can't offer to pay anything right now, unless we actually make enough to cover gas and such.

(we also like to support all ages, DIY shows & venues, independent labels & bands & artists, plus we'll sometimes contribute and help with benefit shows and/or events for people or causes that we believe in)

so if you'd like to get together and make some music, send us a myspace message or shoot an email to:
band@seatac67.com

03/24/07  Mike F has decided to step down as SeaTac 67's drummer.  No hard feelings, we're all still friends!  We may convince Mike F to help out on some future projects, and possibly a performance or two (?)
...
so....  While we search for a new drummer, we plan to continue working on new songs, plus finish up our next CD (which Mike performed on), and we'll try work up an acoustic set, so we can get out and do a "quiet" show or two.

03/15/07  Saturday show update:  Here's the order of bands, we're second: starts @ 8PM:  1) Mojometer, 2) SeaTac 67, 3) This Avenue Dark, 4) the Dumpster Babies, 5) 30 Seconds Out, 6) Rock n Roll Mafia

02/28/07 We just got added to Last FM.  We have 3 songs there you can download for free.  Click Here to check it out.

02/27/07  as if this website, our 2 myspace pages, our pure volume page, and our 2 i-sound pages weren't enough already ..... there's another new one and it's pretty slick !!! www.virb.com  You have to be logged in to view, and right now you can only be a member by invite. And guess what? We have some extra invites!  If you want one, we need to know your email address, so an invite can be sent to you.
