05/11/09  SeaTac 67 has been inactive since October of 2008.  Well as you know; Jim, Mike J, and former SeaTac 67 drummer Mike F have been playing together in The Last of the Great Alaskan Crab Fishermen with Eric S.  The Crab Fishermen are still very much a band, but Jim, Mike and Mike decided to mess around one day and played some of the old ST67 Trio songs, had fun, wrote a couple new ideas and decided to honor the request of their friend Dex and put together a short set and play a show.  So May 30th come out and see The SeaTac 67 TRIO perform along with some other bands including Caterpillar Tracks (from Cincinnati), a rare live performance by the Crab Fishermen, the Tired Eyes and more!

01/01/09  If you haven't already noticed, SeaTac 67 has ceased to exist.  Our day has run it's course.  Thanks to everyone who as ever showed us any support!  Please check out our other bands: The Last of the Great Alaskan Crab Fishermen and The Tired Eyes.

The Tired Eyes are playing a show tomorrow night (FRI 8/1) inside Borders Books (at the Sandusky Mall - RT250) at 9PM. The store is having a "Breaking the Dawn" book release and we've been told that vampires will be present !! The Tired Eyes are also gearing up to release their new (absolutely fantastic!) Self-Titled album very soon, you can preview a few tracks here: www.myspace.com/thetiredeyes
Yes, many of our friends have been busy: Antilles has a new 7", Cassette, some CD-EP's and lots of merch out: www.myspace.com/antillesoh and Good Night, Sleep Well just put out a CD-EP www.myspace.com/goodnightsleepwell (both bands highly recommended)

Finally on a somber note: a friend of ours; Michelle Bussiere passed away last week. Michelle was one of our earliest supporters, encouraging us when we could hardly strum a chord and sing at the same time, she let us "crank it up" in her house, she even joined us on stage once on an early version of our song "Girlz Rules". Michelle was a very fun and caring person; we will miss her.

07/22/08 Just posted some songs that were requested on myspace:
-a couple old ones: red revolution & public access
-two brand new demos: many days (yes, that one with the wah) and dead end
-and a newer demo recording of an older song: love crimes
-oh yeah, someone requested "last call" so we left it up
You can listen here: www.myspace.com/seatac67

05/31/08  Today's party has been moved from Tyler's back yard to our house due to the rain/wetness.  Should start around 5PM

04/24/08  We just posted some photos from the 4/18/08 Show here.

04/19/08  Thanks to everyone that came out to support the bands & to the bands who made it out last night!  NO Thanks to the "neighbor" who called the police on us @ 10:30 :(  The evening got cut short at the start of Ampline's last song.  We were also quite disappointed not to hear Chris Castle play some tunes, but he'll be doing some shows in the not so distant future, so check out his myspace page for dates: ww.myspace.com/chriscastlepage  -- Special Thanks to Waldo's Bar in Norwalk!! Waldo let us finish up the evening down at his place: Death by Rodeo played a killer set to end the night!!  It's not the end of the ST67 House parties, but we'll need to lay low for awhile. -jim

04/1708  Just a reminder: tomorrow night April 18th were hosting one heck of a party/show at our house!  Ampline will be coming up from Cinci to rock out, along with a bunch of others.  Jim has a new project/band with Mike F(ex-SeaTac 67) and Eric Schepers (the Tired Eyes); they'll be playing first, followed shortly after by SeaTac 67, so please get there early: 7PM!  Click here for more info: Shows

04/10/08 We just posted a demo of our brand new song "Living Hell".  Check it out on our myspace page!  We really have to record this song again, but this version is/was so much fun, mistakes and all, so we wanted to share it.

04/03/08  Show APRIL 18th:  We are now playing; Mystery of Two had something come up and had to cancel that night, but we got Death by Rodeo to take their place!  Please come out, much fun will be had! (see more details here)

03/12/08  MAR 2008 BAND UPDATE
We recently recorded the basic tracks for 11 songs. We’re working on the vocals and some guitar parts now. It’s still undetermined what will become of these recordings, but we hope to make them our next CD release, it depends how everything turns out after we finish tracking, mixing and such.

We haven’t been too active recently, but we’re not on hiatus, our work schedules are just really bad right now, plus that mixed with blizzards and sicknesses makes it hard to get together.

We are excited to be hosting a show (but not playing) on Friday April 18th at the ST67 House. Ryan’s band (The Tired Eyes) will be playing along with Ampline (from Cincinnati) and Mystery of Two (from Cleveland). Everyone should try to make it out. $5 and starts around 7PM.

The next SeaTac 67 show is scheduled for Sat June 28th - Norwalk Fest. It will be with a bunch of other bands playing somewhere in Norwalk, details still to be determined.

We might be able to squeeze another show in before that, we’ll keep you posted if something comes up.

02/04/08 We're playing a last minute show tomorrow night ! Punk Rock Mardi Gras !!
Bring some beads !?! ( shows )

01/31/08  We had a couple really fun shows this past month!  The Cleveland show was a lot of fun, jim had a cold, but we had fun and met some cool new people and Now That's Class is a pretty swell venue.  The house party was one of the most fun shows we've had.  The bands Thistle and Lost Hands Found Fingers from Cinci were amazing !!  We've uploaded some photos from those two shows here: 1/12/08 and here 1/26/08.  Our schedules are a still a bit crazy, so we'll keep you posted when we line up some more shows.

01/01/08 HAPPY NEW YEAR !!
